In collaboration with the Department of Community and Entrepreneurship Relations (Industry) of Lorestan University, Lorestan Regional Water Company, and the Industrial Parks and Technology Market Company of the province, the "Event for Presenting Technological Needs of Water and Related Industries in Lorestan Province" was held, hosted by the Growth and Technology Center of Lorestan University, in the conference hall of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, with the aim of identifying challenges and technological needs in the field of water and related industries, establishing scientific and technological interaction between faculty members, students, and staff, and providing a platform for presenting innovative and practical solutions.
In this meeting, which was held on Tuesday, December 22nd of the current year, the managers of Lorestan Regional Water Company introduced the technological needs related to the province's water and related industries, and university researchers registered to submit research proposals.
The vision is that in the near future, the presentation of such research proposals (proposals) will lead to the conclusion of extra-university contracts between Lorestan University and Lorestan Regional Water Company, with the aim of solving problems related to the province's water and related industries.
_ Technological needs presented by Lorestan Regional Water Company:
1_ Field and laboratory research to assess the feasibility of using submerged plate structures in the engineering of the Kashkan River.
2_ Selection of index piezometers in the plain to monitor the groundwater level and design and implementation of an online system for water level changes.
3_ Design of a "self-sustaining" energy sensor for monitoring the aniline of surface water flow.
4_ Design of an optimal groundwater network by selecting index observation wells and ranking wells to be equipped with online systems, using artificial intelligence.
5_ Design and construction of a device for measuring suspended sediment in surface water flow.
6_ Design and construction of precision instruments for monitoring the stability of the province's dams.
At the end of the meeting, the necessity of utilizing the scientific capacity of Lorestan University and the effective role of students and faculty members in providing technological solutions was emphasized and approved, and it was decided that the results of the meeting would be followed up in the form of practical technological programs and projects.
