Introduction to Management

This unit operates to introduce students to industrial companies for internships and to establish a relationship between the academic sector of the university and industry. The achievements of this unit are divided into two sections: entrepreneurship and research. In the entrepreneurship section, this unit achieved first place among all public universities across the country in 2015, not as an industrial university but as a comprehensive university, by issuing introduction letters for the dispatch of 343 students of technical fields to industrial units through the national internship system. The achievements of this unit in the research section include a one-hundred percent increase in the number of extra-university research contracts in 2015 compared to 2014 in the fields of economics, management, civil engineering, mining, electrical engineering, computer science, psychology, agriculture, plant production, veterinary medicine, chemistry, geography, mathematics, educational sciences, and physical education. Other actions of this section include the compilation and arrangement of hundreds of research priorities of companies and executive agencies of the province in 2016, signing a memorandum of understanding with the National Elites Foundation of Lorestan Province regarding research assistance for doctoral students of Lorestan University, as well as concluding five research assistance contract agreements with doctoral students, Lorestan University, signing a memorandum of scientific, research, and technological cooperation between the Science and Technology Park of Lorestan Province and the Vice-Presidency for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, and also the diligent follow-up and establishment of the Growth Center for Technology Units located at Lorestan University.
