The Vice President for Research and Technology at Lorestan University announced the implementation of a new plan to save on equipment repair costs; according to this action, the repair of medium-sized workshop and laboratory equipment will be carried out within the university and at the Technology and Growth Center, instead of being sent to external centers.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, Dr. Hossein Hatami, Vice President for Research and Technology, announced this news and said: "Previously, equipment that needed repair was sent to centers outside the university to be fixed, but for some time now, with the planning and support of the University's Community and Entrepreneurship Relations Management, the repair of this equipment is being carried out at the Lorestan University Technology and Growth Center, which results in significant financial savings."
He added: "Repairing and improving in-house equipment, in addition to reducing costs, has also strengthened the technical capabilities of the university's specialized personnel."
It is worth mentioning that the repairs are the responsibility of Engineer Ali Beiranvand, and the heads of the faculties can, if they need to repair workshop and laboratory equipment, inform the Community and Entrepreneurship Relations Management (managed by Dr. Morteza Ghobadi) so that the necessary coordination can be made for repairs at the university's Growth Center.
A list of some of the repaired and improved equipment is included in the tables attached to the news.
